My Sales Journey: From Zero to $250MM in Revenue | Learning, Growing, and Succeeding in Sales

When I started my sales career over eight years ago, I had no formal training. I immersed myself in sales books, interviewed top reps, and learned by doing. It wasn't easy—I spent six months without closing a deal, reaching out to hundreds of prospects daily. But perseverance paid off; my first service deal broke through, and I refined my approach, closing 20 clients annually, growing revenue to $10 million.

Transitioning to software sales was another challenge. Longer cycles, more decision-makers—yet after the initial hurdle, I've closed over 40 software deals in five years. Today, I manage $80 million in annual revenue from 30+ SaaS and services clients.
